Narcissu: Side 2nd is the prequel to the first main visual novel Narcissu. Narcissu: Side 2nd and Narcissu both were produced by Stage Nana. Narcissu: Side 2nd was released in the year 2007 where as Narcissu was released at 2005.
In this game, the story revolves around Setsumi who was the female heroine of the first visual novel Narcissu. All the story and the events which took place around in this visual novel were 6-7 years before the events of the main visual novel Narcissu.
This game shows the story of Himeko, a sweet and cheerful former seventh floor* staff who unexpectedly fells ill and become a patient at the same floor on which she was helping. Setsumi meets Himeko when she was there on regular check-up, and their story begins....
*seventh floor: if you are new to Narcissu then you wont know... So, let me tell you. It means 7th floor of the hospital. The same floor where the story of the first Narcissu series starts....
